About us

Who we are?

Red Latin@ Southwest NB is a non-profit organization that aims to connect residents with ties to Latin America in the Southwestern New Brunswick area. Our primary objective is to facilitate integration and create a supportive community.

We are a volunteer-based organization established in December 2021 with the generous support of the City of Saint John, NB. Our goal is to build a strong support network for residents with ties to Latin America in this region, which includes:

• Facilitating the settlement and integration of new residents.
• Creating recreational and celebratory spaces that allow people to enjoy Latin American culture through exhibitions, food, literature, dance, music, performances, and films.
• Showcasing how the Latin American community is an integral part of the multicultural landscape of New Brunswick.

We believe that by fostering a welcoming environment and promoting cultural exchange, we can help create a bright future for everyone in the region.

We are thankful that Canada opened its doors to us, and we want to give back to this community.
